Slidin' Slugs

Remember the lightning fast game of Spoons? Slidin' Slugs is the card game of Spoons without the spoons! We've thrown in a bunch of adorable slugs, replaced the spoons with sluggy homes, and encourage the use of your spoons for some delectable dessert while you play!

The object is to be the first to match 4 slimy slugs, collect a home for your slug, and accumulate the most points. Place the home cards (compost pile, flower garden, rock pile, and Slimy Slim) in the center of the table within everyone's reach. Shuffle the deck of slugs and pass out 4 cards to each player. The dealer picks up a card from the deck and adds it to his/her hand. The dealer decides which card to pass along and places that choice on the table FACE DOWN. The other players also choose one of their cards to pass, placing their choice FACE DOWN in front of them. AT THE SAME TIME, all players slide their cards clockwise to the player next to them ( it helps to keep younger players going by saying DOWN and SLIDE all together). The card sliding to the dealer is slug goo and goes into the discard pile. Cards are picked up and passed quickly around the table until someone gets 4 matching slugs and grabs the highest point card from the center of the table! Once a player with 4 of a kind grabs a point card, the remaining players race to grab whatever point card they can! Play as many rounds as you want, tallying up each players' points when finished. The winner has the most points!
